Legacies & Bequests
A gift in your will can help the RCA nurture innovation and creativity for generations to come. A legacy gift is easy to arrange, will not alter your current lifestyle and can be easily modified to address your changing needs.
At a time of unprecedented change in the
world of higher education, leaving a legacy to the RCA is one of the most
enduring gifts you can make. Your help will ensure that we continue to attract
a community of exceptionally talented students regardless of their personal
wealth or background. It will help in sourcing the finest staff from around the
globe devoted to providing a unique educational experience in art and design
and will allow the RCA to continue to grow, diversify and develop the courses
and research offered.
A gift in your will can be a sum of money, equities and bonds, a specific item or a share of what is left of your estate. The RCA is an exempt charity under the terms of the Charities Act 2011 meaning legacy gifts are exempt from inheritance tax thus reducing the overall amount of tax payable out of your estate. Further reductions in tax are available for those who leave 10 per cent or more of their wills to charity.
