Darlene is Head of Library Services at the Royal College of Art, managing a team of 8 staff. She is responsible for leading and developing Library services to support the College’s strategic aims in learning, teaching and research. This includes print, digital and AV collections, multi-campus services and a programme of research skills workshops.
Darlene has held a number of Library roles at the RCA and has significant experience of working in specialist art and design institutions in the UK, having previously worked at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Winchester School of Art and Conde Nast Publications in the Vogue Picture Archive. She holds an MA from the University of Glasgow and a PgDIP in Library Science from the University of Strathclyde.
