Professional Development


FuelRCA is the Royal College of Art's professional development service, offering Alumni confidential guidance through the Fuel Helpline. Fuel offers support to Alumni setting-up individual practices or businesses and Royal Designer Mentoring and PwC Mentoring programmes for recent graduates.


InnovationRCA is the Royal College of Art’s centre for incubation and business support, helping graduates transform compelling ideas into successful businesses.

Learning and IT

Alumni Drawing Classes

The RCA Drawing Studio hosts a comprehensive Summer Drawing School during the Summer vacation, as well as Life Drawing classes every Friday during term. Please contact the Drawing Studio Administrator ( (0)20 7590 4562) if you would like more information.

Access free Online Resources 

Register to use free online resources, including:

Free Online IT Training - Learn any piece of mainstream software for Mac or Windows at your own pace through the College's  VTC (Virtual Training Company). 
File Transfer Service - FTS is a self-service, web-based tool, which can be used on any system and from any browser to transfer files of up to 500MB to anyone.
 Any number of files can be collected any number of times from any location. Files are uploaded to a secure storage area and can be held for up to two weeks. 

Services can be accessed via Space, the College's intranet network once registration has been completed. Full details will be sent in a confirmation email.
