When We All Live to 150: Alternative Family Models


Humans can already live 100 years now, but life expectancy is growing, with technology aiding further longevity. Lives extended to 150 or even 200 years will reshape the familial generation-scape. In such a future, with new types of inter-generational relationships emerging, current and traditional family models are unsustainable. Yet, it is the basic social unit crucial to the state. 


This project traces the story of 75-year-old Moyra and her sprawling contract-based future nuclear family.
