The metropolis can be a daunting place. Even as a well- seasoned traveller, explorer or dweller, we still come across places we have never visited before. How can we discretely navigate ourselves out of being lost?
This project explores how we interact with the city and steer ourselves around it without having to look at a map or smartphone. With a personal haptic device we can be both directed and comforted.
Larissa worked as a design engineer for the London Underground before studying at Imperial College London. Her design work primarily focuses on human interaction with the urban environment.
