The effect on people when you discuss time with them is a somewhat stubborn righteousness. Not said negatively, just observing. We all hold the truth – our truth about what time is and how to navigate it. It became apparent that that exactly, was to be the project focus. The research and design is focused on the benefit of exploring and understanding the individual relationship with time. The context is a constructed family of five: mother, father, grandmother, teenage daughter and a little son – the afterthought. The understandings and uses of time vary greatly and so do the proposed designs.
