This final project is inspired by the phenomenon of human perception and the fact that, without changing the world physically, our image of it can change. I am applying this principle to vehicle design. Plato says the human world – culture – is spread between the natural world and the world of ideas.


I am translating this philosophical concept into formal language by creating naturally shaped forms and projecting geometry (a formal representation of an ideal world) on top of them. I use these forms as 3D sketches.


With the use of LED technology, this vehicle gives a driver the freedom to change the character of the shape without changing it physically.
