The ‘Wet and Dry Light’ is as simple as can be, requiring minimal use of materials and energy for its production. A single sheet of specialist paper is wetted and draped over a simple form to create a volume and then left to dry. This basic and straightforward process is contrasted with the disordered drama of the paper’s response.


When a standard low-energy light bulb is placed inside, the materiality of the paper shines through to great effect, providing a quality of light that has warmth and excitement.
