This work follows an exploration into ’reflection’, looking closely at the effects of reflective surfaces on space, material and colour. Taking the lead from one experiment to the next, this has been an ongoing investigation into how visual reality can be distorted by modifying the expected.


Our surroundings are coated with reflective and semi-translucent materials which throw our vision in startling directions and pose interesting interventions.


In this work viewers are challenged by what the reflections reveal – another reality, far from what is expected, engaging the viewer to reconsider the objects and reflections.
