My work has a tendency to revolve around characters I would be happy to stalk for an extended period of time. They come mainly from memories, experiences and frustrations, but animation allows me to build beyond that and show the world the way they see it: often with happiness in unexpected places.
I enjoy making films that leave the audience with a twisted feeling in the gut, and a sense of wondering about what could have happened to that poor character for it to have turned out the way it has.
