Every year, the RCA hosts the Fashion Gala, a glamorous and exclusive black-tie, fundraising event attended by guests of honour, high profile RCA fashion alumni, fashion editors, stylists and senior figures from the fashion industry.

Previous guests of the RCA Fashion Gala have included Bryan Ferry, Philip Treacy, Christopher Bailey, Sarah Burton,  Albert Elbaz from Lanvin, Giovanni Pungetti from Maison Martin Margiela, Peter Copping from Nina Ricci Design, Julien Macdonald, Erdem, Betty Jackson, Alice Temperley, Orla Kiely, fashion guru Mary Portas, fashion writers Suzy Menkes and Colin McDowell, models Erin O'Connor and Lily Cole, Jefferson Hack and Chanel collaborator Lady Amanda Harlech to name just a few.

The evening includes a champagne reception from 6.30pm, followed by the graduate catwalk show and a three-course dinner with drinks. The Gala helps support the RCA Fashion programme and its students.
