  • Irene Gunston has worked with AB Fine Art Foundry over many years for artists including Rachel Whiteread and Gavin Turk on works for galleries such as White Cube or Tate Britain.

    As a freelancer she has worked extensively with metal sculpture conservators Rupert Harris on projects for the National Trust, Victoria and Albert Museum and private galleries. Irene Gunston runs sculpture and casting workshops for the City of London Festival, supported by the Founders Guild and as part of the Dartmoor Arts Trust.

    She has been a member of the British Art Medal Society Council since 1994, reviewing for their journal The Medal and the occasional exhibition catalogue, such as Depth of Field: The Place of Relief in the Time of Donatello (Henry Moore Institute, 2004) and Bronze: The Power of Life and Death (Henry Moore Institute, 2005).
