The last two years were a great opportunity for me to re-think my practice and explore questions of interest to me — time and mind-space that otherwise I would not have had. My previous experience has been mostly in production, distribution and presentation of digital art and my research and curatorial interests are dedicated to exploring the friction between art and technology. In my dissertation I have looked into the reasons for the divide between new media art and mainstream contemporary art. I believe ‘technological’ art will soon take its deserved place in contemporary art galleries and museums.
