Specialism: Printed Textiles


This body of work was born from working with the ideas of minimalism. This in turn inspired me to reject minimalism and begin work that took on an embellished aesthetic. Alongside one another, these two seemingly separate design identities begin to have a conversation. The bare and stripped down have reason to exist only as a result of being adjacent to the embellished, and vice versa. The Baroque movement has played a huge role in my work to date and continues to influence how I look at design, among other sources of visual references, from horror to sci-fi.
