This work represents an urban scenario of the West End in London, one of four serial projects reflecting urban rhythm and locative virtual layers, which are the core discourse of my PhD research (‘Locative Interaction in Urban Space: Programmatic flexibility’). This project shows programmatically flexible virtual layers activated by telecommunication. These virtual layers can embed architectural programmes and can reflect diverse activities in an urban space in real time. The digital spatiality interpreted as an architectural rhetoric can be utilised as if it were an architectural structure that can complement the existing programmes endowed in the built environment.
