My practice ranges from print design to editorial and curatorial work, exploring the relationship between design and social enquiry. My recent work has focused on the political and institutional use of public language as a mechanism for maintaining legitimacy and exercising power over perceived social bodies. The work attempts to reveal the potential manipulation of ideology and the effects on the wider public, for example the possible disconnect between the politician and the constituent. I use design as a method for distributing these findings to a broader audience, attempting to encourage wider social dialogue around these issues.
