Stargazing is a natural wonder, easily experienced by any curious mind around the globe. Unfortunately, it is made impossible in large cities, due to light pollution.
The Urban Stargazing project focuses on putting back the stars in the London sky, through guerrilla interventions. Around two dozen constellations have been created and installed in different locations; each of them telling a story, specific to London culture. Alongside, the London Stargazing Guide references each artificial constellation and its exact co-ordinates, to enable star hunting.
The project is intended to recreate a forgotten experience, but also to raise questions about the environment in which we live.
