Alumna and hotographer Jo Longhurst has been announced as the winner of The Grange Prize 2012. Jo graduated with a PhD in Photography in 2008. The Grange Prize is one of the world's largest photography prizes and one of the few art prizes determined by public vote.

Congratulations to Beatrice Haines (MA in Printmaking, 2010), who has been shortlisted for the Griffin Art Prize 2012. Beatrice's work focuses on relationships between the scientific and emotional, the grotesque and beautiful, the micro and macro, and life and death.
