Jimin Seo has a PhD degree in Textile Design from Hanyang University in Korea, graduating in 2009. She has lectured about Textile Design and Design Theory in South Korea. She has also participated in many international exhibitions and conferences, in many cities such as LA and New York, Tokyo, Innsbruck, New Delhi and so on. She has also had two solo textile-exhibitions with dot and line theme using the jacquard loom in Seoul.
She is currently exploring the new meaning of sustainable textile design for interior related to emotion of people, at the Royal College of Art through a practice-based PhD degree.
