Roberto Bottazzi’s research studies the impact of globalisation on architecture and urbanism. Through both theoretical and design-based speculations, Bottazzi specifically explores the potential that digital technologies have in updating the designer’s toolbox as well as envisioning different ways to organise and experience urban environments. Notions of sovereignty, infrastructure, public space and participation are redefined to speculate on how the information revolution is influencing cities and architecture.
