Textile graduates have succeeded in very diverse career paths, working in the fields of Fashion, Interior, Automotive, Colour, Architecture, Communications, Art and Craft.

The Textile course has a long history of highly successful graduates, such as Lucienne Day, Zandra Rhodes, Sue Timney, Paul Simmons of Timorous Beasties, Orla Kiely OBE, Neisha Crosland and Alice Temperley MBE.

Many graduates work with international companies such as Akaiza Mota at Paul Smith, Jacqueline Ednie, Duncan Cheetham and Katey Leyland at Burberry, Paul Maffret at All Saints, and Jo Lewis and Marie Parsons at Jaguar Land Rover. Many graduates set up their own ranges and shops including: Emma Sewell, Michael Angove, Donna Wilson, Lisa Stickley, Katherine Hammerton and Margo Selby.
