Graduating in 2000 with an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins School of Art & Design, Rock has gone on to exhibit extensively over the last 10 years, with commercial solo exhibitions in London, New York, Los Angeles and Amsterdam. His work has been included in significant public space and museum survey exhibitions including: Expander, Royal Academy of Arts, London. Extreme Abstraction, Albright Knox, Buffalo. Landscape Confection, Wexner Centre Ohio, CAM Houston and OCMA California. Jerwood Contemporary Painters 2007, Jerwood Space, London. In 2009 Rock had his first solo exhibition in a UK public gallery at the New Art Gallery Walsall. He lives and works in Los Angeles and London.
