    British Airways Unveil Alumnus-designed Aircraft

    Pascal Anson (MA Furniture Design, 2000) has designed an Olympic-inspired British Airways aircraft. The 'Dove' has been unveiled as the first in a series of limited-edition Olympics-inspired aircrafts.

    World's Lightest Running Shoe 

    Alumnus Luc Fusaro, who is also part of the team which designed the London 2012 podium, has created the world's lightest running shoe using a 3D printer. Weighing just 90 grams, they are among the lightest shoes ever made. Fusaro graduated this year with an MA in Industrial Design Engineering.

    Central Illustration

    Alumnus Neal Fox (MA Communication Art & Design, 2005) has joined CIA – Central Illustration. Neal, who co-founded the internationally renowned art journal LE GUN, includes The Guardian, Dazed and Confused, Absolut and Babyshambles among his commercial clients. Inspired by tales of his dead grandfather, a World War 2 bomber pilot, writer and hell-raiser, his personal work often depicts a phantasmagoric journey through the detritus and mythology of pop culture.

    How Did Dinosaurs Actually Sound?

    Alumna Marguerite Humeau (MA Design Interactions, 2011) has reconstructed the vocal chords of a dinosaur to recreate the cries of the ancient creatures.
