  • Jeff Willis is a partner in Perks Willis Design, specialists in information design, corporate identity and exhibition design. Established in 1990 by partners Sue Perks and Jeff Willis, both of whom graduated from the RCA in 1984, the business blends together two disciplines: information design and graphic design.

The design practice has achieved a profile for working with museums and socially motivated organisations such as English Heritage Outreach. To date, they have produced three major exhibitions at the Natural History Museum since 1999. The permanent exhibition From the Beginning, the travelling exhibition Rhythms of Life and Systema Metropolis. For English Heritage Outreach they have been a project partner in no less than five projects since 2004: ‘Tide Mills’, ‘Forgotten Heroes’, Chattri (Partition) Exhibition, Isle of Wight, and ‘Kent Gypsy Travellers’.

Perks Willis have consciously moved their business focus away from commercial graphic design to satisfy a greater design ambition, where research plays a critical role. They are motivated to produce design work that is a collaborative experience, well researched, implemented and executed. As a practice they are currently collaborating with English Heritage Outreach, Exhibition Plus, The British Academy and Southampton City Council.
