  • In 2008 Stuart Croft undertook a teaching fellowship to recommend a strategy for how the Royal College of Art could evolve its future relationship with the moving image. As part of the fellowship, he established AMIP (Artists’ Moving Image Project), a co-commissioning scheme between the RCA and the National Film and Television School.

    Croft has been a visiting lecturer at Chelsea College of Art and Design; Royal Academy Schools; Goldsmiths College; Middlesex University; Manchester Metropolitan University; Parsons the New School of Design, New York; Norwich School of Art and Design and Wimbledon School of Art. In 2008 Croft was an External Validation Panel member for the BA and MFA in Moving Image at University of Brighton.

    During 2005–7 Croft served as a trustee for Studio Voltaire, a gallery/studio complex in South London. He has also worked as a consultant for some of the UK’s leading visual arts organisations, including Chisenhale Gallery, Brighton Photo Biennial and the Institute of International Visual Arts. Croft has also curated a number of exhibitions in the UK and Europe.
