It's been an exciting few months, as Show RCA 2012 presented the work of 484 graduating art and design students simultaneously. Congratulations to everyone on their success – we welcome you as the newest members of our alumni community.
We are now into preparations towards the biggest alumni reunion event to date. Taking place on 16 November as part of the College's 175th anniversary, the reunion will take place on the night of the exhibition opening, from 6 to 9pm.
On show will be work by faculty and students spanning three centuries providing a fascinating insight into the world’s oldest art and design school in continuous operation. It will reveal the politics and polemics behind the perennial question of how Britain should train artists and designers, and what the purpose of art schools should be. Membership of Alumnet – the community's social networking site – has grown rapidly to over 2,000 members, demonstrating a great desire to stay in touch with the College and other alumni. Look out for exclusive offers, news and events for all those members who are signed up!
