John Slyce is a writer, critic and lecturer based in London. He is an MA tutor and Research Tutor in Painting at the Royal College of Art.
John Slyce has written extensively on the work of Sarah Sze, Gillian Wearing, Sarah Jones, David Shrigley, Darren Almond, Michael Landy, Carey Young, Cullinan and Richards, Allen Ruppersberg, Rodney Graham, Pipilotti Rist, Charles Avery and Becky Beasley and regularly contributes essays, reviews and interviews to the major art magazines and journals.
John Slyce is an art editor for Bedeutung, a quarterly magazine of philosophy, current affairs, art and literature published in the UK. He is also an editorial consultant for Blackdog Publishing’s Artworld series.
