Matt Johnson is a recent graduate of Innovation Design Engineering (2009). Since earning his degree he has focused on the development of Bare Conductive Ltd, a business founded upon a non-toxic, electrically conductive ink invented while studying at the Royal College of Art. He is also a designer at BREAD Ltd (Bureau of Research, Engineering, Art and Design). Recent projects have included interactive installations and holographic projection.
Graduating from Industrial Design Engineering means that Matt Johnson is a bit of a designer, a bit of an engineer and very comfortable being split between the two. Since graduation, he has co-founded Bare Conductive Ltd and has been working on product development and promotion, showing the product at numerous events and speaking engagements. He continues to work on the business, applications and chemistry behind Bare. Before coming to the UK, Matt completed a solo circumnavigation of the globe on his motorcycle and studied Economics and Business at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA.
