Tim Webb’s research is based on developing personal projects with the aim of seeking funding. He has also developed studio workshops and interactive workshops for students, which encourage some of his approaches to filmmaking.

He has developed a three-part film-editing workshop on the themes ‘structure’, ‘continuity and discontinuity’ and ‘rhythm and time’. The Research Development Fund supported the initial research and a Teaching Fellowship further development. A large part of the Teaching Fellowship was adapting it to work and communicate interactively on the College intranet, which is currently up and running.
