Thanks to everyone who took part in this first Sustain Talks session of 2010/11. The discussion centred around this multi-layered proposition: if you want to behave and work in a socially and environmentally responsible way, designing perfectly functional sustainable solutions is not enough. You need to design in desirability.

    Date: 7 October 2010
Chair: Fashion designer and educator Dilys Williams
Opening presentation: Ben Faga (MA Design Interactions, 2010)

Richard Reynolds, founder of the Guerilla Gardening movement, pro-environmental marketeer Ed Gillespie and architect Ken Yeang discussed their personal strategies for broaching the sustainability question with different audiences, turning hearts and minds for the better.
