Wouldn’t it be nice if the objects that you love could grow with you?
In play, everything is allowed. As children, we always found our own way of playing and creating our own worlds. The ‘little bang’ theory of time tells us that it is possible to create a cohesive system of toys that are always appropriate to a child as their play habits change. It all started with the study of the relationship between user and product. The biggest question to be answered was how to strengthen this relationship in order to enhance its longevity. The team was most interested in how a product might evolve as the user’s perception changes. Theory shows that the most radical physical and cognitive changes happen to pre-school children. This is when visual, aural and dexterity development are at their peak. They would become the extreme users of a concept that both matches and challenges them on these three levels. The visual, aural and dexterous discoveries made during the evolution of this product form the aesthetic, audio and mechanical elements in a unique way.
