Specialism: Woven Textiles

This collection is the product of an investigative journey into the juxtaposition between extremes; how opposites can integrate to create new, even stronger outcomes.

A cross-disciplinary correspondence between Textiles and Metalsmithing has led me to look at the intrinsic quality each material holds and at the traditional process involved in its making, fuelling my curiosity to examine how taking one discipline’s approach towards the other can reveal new potential within a material. Both conceptually and technically driven, the approach to designing these textiles has been experimental and designed to be applicable to both body and space.
