Specialism: Knitted Textiles
Travel experiences in Ladakh in the Himalayas and Tibetan costumes are two of the themes that influence this collection of knitted multifunctional wraps and garments. The collection explores a surface pattern printing process that ages, strips and fades colour, to create washed out and weathered-looking fabrics. This treatment is applied by hand, which makes each garment unique. My final collection brings together my love for colour, pattern and traditional craft techniques.
