Entering into extended dialogues with our surroundings and engaging with the systems we are part of, drives our practice. With our non-hierarchical approach to research, collaboration and the development of projects, we come upon the most stimulating and unexpected conversations. Taking time to live the context of a project gives us space for a careful evaluation of the situation, incidental findings, enlightening detours and spontaneous action.
Today we experience a system, tomorrow we experiment with it. During the past year, this system happened to be the Royal College of Art, which triggered the project Department 21.
