Millions worldwide experience Type – 1 diabetes. What similarities can be drawn between today’s medical conditions and future deviations from our genetic norms? I am a Type – 1 diabetic, and I have used my direct personal experiences of living with this condition to inform my work this year, exploring the consequences of using science to alter our bodies’ abilities.
