Gabriel Klasmer website
London-based, Israeli artist Gabriel Klasmer has been working,
exhibiting and teaching since the early 1980s.
Klasmer has exhibited in
numerous galleries internationally and has been awarded several art
prizes,
among them the prestigious Israeli Museum’s Sandberg Prize (1990). His
work is included in major museum collections in Israel, and in
the Museum of Modern Art, New York, alongside many private
collections. In 1996 Klasmer represented Israel in the 23rd
International Biennial of São Paulo. Klasmer came to London to study as
the recipient of a Clore Scholarship. He completed an MA and PhD at the
Royal College of Art.
