  • Icehicle is a pollution-free hydrogen vehicle inspired by ice.

Ice is a very interesting material: it can change into snow, water and steam.

To approach a new design language I investigated ice’s bumpy surface, which is really splendid when illuminated. I used the effect of light to emphasise the eco-friendly design. When using hydrogen fuel, Icehicle spreads the water into the air, making a rainbow.

To deliver a strong emotional impact, the final presentation will include an avant-garde ice melting performance using an ice sculpture of the vehicle. The beauty of the performance will be that everything disappears.
