My collection GRANNY'S MENAGERIE is a story about a colourful, eccentric and humorous Granny who is a bit odd, playful and quite adventurous. The collection reflects a vibrant translation of her wardrobe favourites - from the 1930’s knitted bathing suits to flamboyant and oversized garments of the 1980’s. Granny’s menagerie also introduces her many crazy hobbies such as basketry, sequin embroideries, hand knitting, art deco patterns, old postcards in fading colours, flowers, knots, bags and 1980’s textiles. The silhouettes evolve around different scales of knit, jacquard patterns, printed fabrics and strong colours which tend to fade into one another, as one of Granny’s many stories...
