    RCA/ICL Industrial Design Engineering

  • What makes a truly cutting-edge design course? Distinguished because our working is mostly in mixed-discipline teams, Industrial Design Engineering is a creative hub, where our graduates work at the centre of complex, demanding projects, striving to achieve great ideas, designs and successful products. Unusually for a design course, our designs are accompanied by working test rigs and prototypes. This commitment to proof of concept is demanding yet essential – whether the project is about mass production or is experimental. Our students have backgrounds not only in engineering and industrial design, but also architecture, science, business and marketing. They come from over 20 countries around the world. This richness allows them to innovate and develop product designs with cultural and technological value. This course provides a springboard into the challenging creative world. Our graduates are variously leaders, creators and entrepreneurs. Why do we do it? Because of a conviction that our design work will benefit society through wealth creation and cultural value. Now you be the judge.
