Capitalism provokes a constant tickle into saying
'Yes' to its decoy; a distraction to conceal what an individual might be
really looking for. Within the capitalist reality, the media and
advertising have the power to spread conceptual models of ‘being’:
hyper-reality to the masses.
I reconstruct common objects,
symbols of personal identity and value by changing the material form
to confuse one’s sense of judgement.
I aim at shifting the
parameters that we have learned, to take glimpses at the world from
radically different perspectives – disorienting environments – and in this
way induce doubt about the very structure of what we accept as
‘reality‘: all the things we take for granted through ‘conditioned
perception’.
