In February 2008 the College’s Learning and Teaching Committee approved funding to employ SKILL (the National Bureau for Students with Disabilities) to undertake a survey into disability at the RCA. Staff and students were asked for their views through questionnaires and focus groups.

The results of the survey, and the subsequent report from SKILL have been used to measure progress against the objectives outlined in the RCA’s Disability Equality Scheme. The recommendations provided by SKILL have been incorporated into the action plan and will inform the future development of the scheme.
