The Special Collections department also houses a selection of other smaller archives and book collections, including rare books, artists’ books (featuring a range made by RCA staff and students) and manuscript material relating to Robin Darwin, Henry Wilson, Henry Cole, Bruce Archer, Frank Short, W R Lethaby and others. The College also holds the archive of Art & Architecture, an independent association to promote collaboration between architects and artists in the built environment.
