Biography
Roberto Bottazzi studied and worked in Italy and Canada before moving to London in 2003.
He first graduated from the University of Florence (Hons) and then attended a post-graduate master (MASA) at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Particularly, his research S.O.U.P. focused on interactive and participatory techniques for urban design. The final proposal was awarded the Council of international Studies of Canada Award and W. Gerson Award.
He worked with Studio Lottici in Italy where he was involved in the design for the winning entry in the Reggio Children headquarters competition and with LWPAC in Vancouver. Ever since 2003 Roberto Bottazzi has been collaborating with Chora where he has been project architect in several projects and competition entries.
His personal work and that developed with other offices has been published and exhibited in Vancouver, Bologna, Orleans, Hamburg, and Florence. He is also research assistant at London Metropolitan University, Diploma Unit 8. He is a registered architect.
