  • Rut Blees Luxemberg was both co-curator and participating artist in this exhibition which showed work by 14 international artists at T1+2 Artspace, London. This exhibition aimed to develop a new syntax for the exploration of the concepts of momentum and trajectory via the mediums of porcelain and steel. As part of the research, Blees Luxemberg experimented with porcelain and made a sculpture entitled The Horn of Golden Moses. Invited artists included Francis Upritchard, Mark Aerial Waller, Philip Jones, Alexander Hamilton, Giles Round, Eva Stenram, Samon Takahashi with Charles Hayward, Hilary Koob-Sassen, Wolfe Lenkiwics, Audrey Reynolds, Claire Hooper, Jen Mitas and Bob Wyzocky. A further aspect on her research for this exhibition was the exploration of the artist as curator.

An international conference 'Towards Syntaxtical Elaborationism' accompanied this exhibition, with participation from researchers from America, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Germany and Japan. Blees Luxemberg conceived, organised and chaired this conference in partnership with Hilary Koob-Sassen. The conference aimed to frame the exhibition and explored poetic materialism, the practice of city planning and the importance of proposal making. She also produced a film of the exhibition, with the poet Douglas Park, guiding the viewer through the exhibited works of art.
