Hephzibah Rendle-Short moved to England from Australia at the beginning of the 80s to study painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, first as an undergraduate then as a postgraduate student. She has been awarded various scholarships and awards which has enabled her to show in Australia, Europe and New York. Her work is held in numerous collections, including University College, London; Emmanual College and Clare Hall, Cambridge. Her work is also held in private collections, for example, Paul Smith's collection. She is a visiting lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and on the Alternative Foundation at the Slade School of Art, London.
