  • Biography

    Núria Querol (Spain, 1979) is a research student in the Curating Contemporary Art Department, supported by Fundación Marcelino Botín, undertaking research on curating contemporary art in India. She is also a lecturer in East Asian Art at the Open University of Catalonia as well as writing extensively on contemporary art in Asia, contributing regularly to ExitExpress Art Magazine and ExitBook magazine. Previously, she obtained a BA in Humanities at the University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Art History at the University Autónoma of Madrid and studied for three years in China doing fieldwork. She has worked in museums and galleries including Chester Beatty Museum in Dublin and Courtyard Gallery in Beijing and was most recently in charge of artistic and cultural activities programmed for the opening of the Cervantes Institute in China.
