My academic background is linked to both Art History (Degree and PhD, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain) and Management (MA Cultural Administration, Fundación Ortega y Gasset, Madrid). My sphere of interest is 20th and 21st century art, informing my theoretical output as a writer and lecturer and my work at different art institutions. I've worked for a Spanish private collection (Colección Arte Contemporáneo) and as Head of the Research and Education Department and subsequently as Chief Curator at Museo Patio Herreriano, Valladolid, Spain. I am currently focused on a critical approach to curatorial practice and exploring the value of innovative models of exhibitions, events and artistic projects.
