  • Biography

Daniel was born in Kent, the youngest son of a family of Romany Gypsies. The family settled before he was born, making for a relatively stable education. With a first degree in fine art and an MA in sociology he began his Doctoral Research; 'Site Unseen: Aesthetics in Gypsy Phenomena' at the RCA in 2006.

Daniel is currently serving as Chair of the Gypsy Council and editor of The HUB, the newsletter of the Gypsy Council. He exhibits widely and in 2007 presented work at the 52nd Venice Biennale and Prague Biennale 3. He lives and works in London.
