Rachel Philpott graduated with a BA(Hons) in Printed Textiles from Middlesex University in 1993. Subsequently she has freelanced, selling print for fashion in Europe, America and Japan and gaining studio experience at Lewis & Lewis and Jonathan Saunders. She has also lectured in printed textiles, printmaking and CAD/CAM for fashion, written for Selvedge magazine and worked as part of "The Materials Library presents..." on events at Tate Modern and at the Wellcome Trust. Rachel's research is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
