  • Biography

    Emmanuel Boos (Saint-Etienne, France, 1969) apprenticed in porcelain with the 'Maître d’art' Jean Girel in Burgundy for 3 years. He became a practising artist in 2003.

    In 2003 he won the Young Creator of the Year award from the Ateliers d’Art de France. In 2004 he was laureate of the SEMA (France’s Crafts Council) Prize for contemporary creation and an artist in residence at Alfred University, NY, USA. In 2005 he won the Grand Prize of Creation of the City of Paris. He now exhibits internationally and is represented by the gallery Jousse Entreprise, Paris, France where his work is on permanent display. He is supported by the artistic agent be-attitude.
